Onika Tanya Maraj, better recognized by her stage name Nicki Minaj, is a Trinidadian hip hop and R&B recording artist and songwriter. She first saw fame when she signed a record contract with Young Money Entertainment and then later Cash Money Records. She has successfully out her first debut album, which charted at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Minaj was exposed by fellow American rapper Lil Wayne, Minaj signed a deal with Young Money Entertainment. After signing the deal, Minaj began working on her debut album, titled Pink Friday, which chart at number-two on the US Billboard 200, kept off the top mark by Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Minaj became the first artist forever to have seven songs within the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. Her second single, "Your Love", reached number-one on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart, construction Minaj the first female artist to top the chart unaccompanied since 2002. Minaj became the first female performer to be included on MTV's Annual Hottest MC List One month after the release of Pink Friday, Minaj's album gained a Platinum qualifications in the United States. Marshall Bruce Mathers III better identified by his stage name Eminem, is an American rapper, record producer, and actor. Eminem speedily gained popularity in 1999 with his major-label debut album, The Slim Shady LP, which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. The following album, The Marshall Mathers LP, became the fastest-selling solo album in United States history. It brought Eminem increased popularity, including his own record label, Shady Records, and brought his group project, D12, to mainstream recognition.

He then won the award again in 2010 for his album Relapse and in 2011 for his album Recovery, giving him a total of 13 Grammys in his career. In 2003, he won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Lose Yourself" from the film, 8 Mile, in which he also played the lead. Eminem has scored over 1 billion vision on his official Vevo page on Youtube. Eminem is the most popular personality ever on Facebook with over 29 million likes.

Kesha Rose Sebert, better recognized by the mononym Kesha, is an American pop singer and songwriter. In 2005, at eighteen, Kesha was sign to Dr. Luke's record label, Kemosabe Entertainment, and publish company. Although an active musician since then, singing background vocals and writing songs for further artists, her breakthrough only came in early 2009 after show on Flo Rida's number one single, "Right Round." Her entrance single, "Tik Tok", released in late 2009, attain number one in eleven countries. Her debut album, Animal, was out in January 2010 and debuted at number one in the US, Canada and Greece.

Grammy Award - AMPAS, Achievement in the music industry

A Grammy Award or Grammy is an award by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States to identify outstanding achievement in the music industry. The yearly awards ceremony features performance by prominent artists, and some of the awards of more popular interest are presented in a extensively viewed televised ceremony. It is the music equal to the Emmy Awards for television, the Tony Awards for stage, and the Academy Awards for film. The awards were start in 1958. Prior to the first live Grammys broadcast in 1971 on American Broadcasting Company (ABC), a series of taped annual specials in the 1960s called The Best on proof were broadcast on National Broadcasting Company (NBC).

The first Grammy Award broadcast took place on the night of November 29, 1959, as an episode of the NBC anthology series Sunday Showcase, which was usually devoted to plays, original TV dramas, and variety shows. Until 1971, awards ceremonies were held in both New York and Los Angeles, with winners accept at one of the two. Pierre Cossette bought the civil rights to broadcast the ceremony from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and planned the first live telecast. CBS Broadcasting bought the rights in 1973 after moving the ceremony to Nashville, Tennessee; the American Music Awards were formed for ABC as a result. The 53rd Grammy Awards will get place on 13 February 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will be show on CBS.
